Nico was a striking model and singer in scene around Andy Warhol. Ingrid is fascinated by her appearance since her academic study where she painted Nico for her final exams. This new 2023 portret is again a tribute to the icon Nico and was commissioned by the I love illustration Gallery Amsterdam, where she appeared alongside artprint ‘Ziggy’ and our silk shawls.
